Provisional classes (pre-incoming year)
The entry of provisional classes allows you to:
Create or recover the provisional classes
Most of the time, your provisional classes are the same as the current year's.
- Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Provisional classes > Services.
- Either you click on the button Recover the timetable's classes to recover last year's classes (in the tab Timetable) as provisional classes, or you create the classes using the creation
line.
- In both cases, you must enter the provisional population in the column Population. New It is possible to enter the total population of a provisional
class with several ETM (MEF), without entering a population for each ETM.
Update the ETM (MEF) and services of every class
- Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Provisional classes > Services.
- To update the ETM and services of the classes, you can:
- either manually specify the ETM in the list on the left and customize the services inherited from the ETM on the right in the same way as you customized them by ETM: modify the discipline, detailing or deactivating a service, specifying the number
of staff for subjects not taught in a full class, etc. (ETM pre-incoming year);
- or recover the ETM and services of the classes defined in SIECLE (SIECLE).
Calculate the requirements using the provisional classes
- Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Provisional requirements Projection per subject.
- Choose a level in the first drop-down menu.
- Choose Provision classes in the second drop-down menu: EDT calculates by replacing the ETM population in the calculations with the sum of the classes' population.
- So that a single class can be counted when several classes have courses together, it is necessary to align the classes (Align the classes (pre-incoming year)).
