Contact preferences
If you have PRONOTE, you can authorize the users to enter their contact preferences from their Webspace.
Indicate the students’ contact preferences
- Go to the tab Timetable > Students > Information form.
- Select the student in the list on the left.
- Click on the button in the rubric Communication.
- In the popup window, tick the accepted communication channels:
- E-mails,
- SMS (If cellphone number is specified)
- Mail,
- Discussions.
Note: you can specify the contact preferences in multi-selection; select the concerned students in the list on the left and tick the boxes corresponding to the wanted options.
Indicate the guardians’ contact preferences
- Go to the tab Timetable > Guardians > Identity form.
- Select the person in the list on the left.
- Click on the button in the rubric Communication.
- In the popup window, tick the accepted communication channels:
- E-mails,
- SMS (If cellphone number is specified)
- Mail,
- Discussions.
- Indicate the type of information that the parents would like to receive: for every type of information, click on the button and in the popup window, tick the student’s name.
Note: you can specify the contact preferences in multi-selection (the type of information is to be configured for every guardian).A hatched box indicates that the option applies to only a portion of the selected persons.
Indicate the teachers’ contact preferences
- Go to the tab Timetable > Teachers > Form.
- Select the person in the list on the left.
- Click on the button in the rubric Communication.
- In the popup window, tick the accepted communication channels:
- E-mails from the institution and/or parents (the e-mail address has been specified),
- SMS (If cellphone number is specified)
- Mail (the address has been specified),
- Discussions with the parents and/or students and/or teachers and staff.
Note: you can specify the contact preferences in multi-selection.
Indicate the staff’s contact preferences
- Go to the tab Timetable > Staff > Information form
.
- Select the person in the list on the left.
- Click on the button in the rubric Communication.
- In the popup window, tick the accepted communication channels:
- E-mails from the institution and/or parents (the e-mail address has been specified),
- SMS (If cellphone number is specified)
- Mail (the address has been specified),
- Discussions with the parents and/or students and/or teachers and staff.
- If the staff member Accepts being a contact for the Student Administration office, he/she can be directly contacted by the teachers and staff connected to PRONOTE (via the button ).
Note: you can specify the contact preferences in multi-selection.
