Information
Sending information via the internal messaging service of PRONOTE allows you to reach a large public without engaging an exchange (no possible response). An acknowledgment of reception indicates that the recipient has seen the information.
If they are authorized, all the teachers and staff members can send information to staff, teachers, parents, students, etc.
Authorizations
Authorize the teachers/staffs to send information 
- Go to the tab Resources > Teachers/Staff >
Authorization profiles.
- In the category Communication, tick Send information/Conduct surveys.
Authorize the guardian representatives to send information 
- Go to the menu Parameters > communication > Mail/SMS/Messaging service.
- In the frame Messaging service, tick Activate the messaging service between the guardians. The guardian representative can send information to parents of their
child’s class.
Sending
Send information 


- From a list of resources, select the concerned resources.
- Click on the button
in the tool bar.
- In the popup window, eventually add other recipients; enter the title and contents of your information.
- Tick the option with acknowledgment of reception if you want to see who consulted the information (see below).
- Go to the position Publish and define the period during which the information must remain visible.
- Click on Validate.
Consult the acknowledgment of receptions 


Prerequisite The option with acknowledgment of reception is ticked during the sending of the information.
- Go to the tab Communication > Messaging service >
Information and surveys.
- Select the information in the list on the left.
- Go to the tab Returns: they are arranged by type of recipients. A click on the panel allows you to see the details of who acknowledged reception of the information.
Consult all received/sent information 


The last information received is displayed on the homepage but you can consult all the information in a dedicated display.
- Go to the tab Communication > Messaging service >
Information and surveys.
- In the bar on top, select Reception or Send to consult the information received or sent.
- Select information to display its contents in the tab Preview.
Send information to the resources concerned by an event
Send information to the course's students and/or their guardians
- Go to the wanted tab:
- Absences > Entry >
Teachers' roll call sheet

- Homework notebook > Entry >
By Teacher

- Resources > Classes >
Timetable

- Select a course or a class, right-click and choose Send information.
Send a reminder to the teachers that have not taken a roll call 
- Go to the tab Absences > Dashboard >
Today's dashboard.
- Select a slot in the column Non performed roll calls, and select the non preformed roll calls below, right-click and choose Ask the selected teachers to conduct the roll call.
Send information to the counselors and/or referential teachers 
- Go to the tab Internships > Internship sessions >
List.
- Select the internship session, right-click and choose Send information.
Inform the pedagogical team and the PEC of an incident, punishment or sanction 
- Go to the tab Sanctions > Punishments/Sanctions/Incidents >
Entry.
- Select the incident/punishment/sanction.
- In the rubric Send information within the institution, click on the button
