IP address
By default, all the IP addresses connecting to the Server and Controller are authorized and verified (blocked after an erroneous authentication, limitation of connections per second, etc.).
Prohibit some IP addresses
- In the applications Server or Relay , click on the panel Security parameters.
- Go to the tab Address management.
- Choose Verify all the addresses.
- Enter the prohibited addresses (in red):
- if there are several addresses that follow in sequence: enter the first address, then the last one;
- if not: enter as many lines as there are addresses.
- At the same time, you can define preferred addresses (in blue), over which no checks are made.
Only authorize some IP addresses
- In the applications Server or Relay , click on the panel Security parameters.
- Go to the tab Address management.
- Choose Prohibit all the addresses.
- Enter the authorized addresses, either as a preferred addresses (in blue), or as an address to be verified (in green):
- if there are several addresses that follow in sequence: enter the first address, then the last one;
- if not: enter as many lines as there are addresses.

Modify the verification level of IP addresses
By default, all addresses that are allowed (and non preferred) to connect to the Server/Relay are subject to controls that allow for the suspension of addresses that are considered potentially "dangerous": blocking after several wrong entries
of the username or password, limiting the number of connections per second, etc. The level of verification can be increased or decreased.
- In the applications Server or Relay , click on the panel Security parameters.
- Go to the tab Address management.
- Select one of the security levels: the default Mid level is usually sufficient for a simple network.
Filter the applications
Application filtering consists of determining from which IP addresses the Relay will be authorized to connect.
In applications Server click on the panel Security parameters.
- If you do not enable filtering, all addresses (preferred or controlled) will be able to connect.
- If you enable filtering, the Relay will only be able to connect from the addresses you define.
Note: to enter a single IP address and not a range of addresses, enter the same address in the columns From and To.
