Distribution of the services

Automatically allocate the teachers to the services

1. Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the services >  Unavailability, wishes and constraints.
2. Enter the unavailability of the teachers (Unavailability) and/or other time constraints (Time constraints (teachers, classes).
3. Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the services >  Assigning of teachers to services.
4. Select every teacher:
   • Click on + Subjects to add subjects taught by the selected teachers. Double click in the column before the subject to indicate whether it is a major (PS) or secondary (SS) subject.
   • Click on + Level to add the levels for which he/she can teach and indicate in the column P. the levels to allocate as a priority (1 corresponds to a level to be assigned as a priority, 5 as the last; you can assign the same priority level to all or several levels).
   • Click on + Incompatible Teachers, to indicate the teachers that must not teach the same classes.

5. Note: to delete an incompatible subject, level or teacher, select the line and click the key [Del] or click-drag it out of the window.

6. If you want to impose a teacher for a service, specify him/her in the column Requested teach. and double-click in the column to lock, so that EDT does not modify the choice.
7. Click on the button Launch a distribution simulation: you can modify the constraints and conduct as many simulations as you want.

Verify the formed pedagogical teams

1. Go to the tab Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the services >  Pedagogical team.
2. Select the class in the list on the left: the pedagogical teams appears in the right panel.
