The institutions that have subscribed to e-sidoc/BCID from the network Canopé can add a widget School library portal in the Students, Teachers and Student Administration Webspaces etc. The institutions that have chosen PRONOTE in hosted mode can interconnect PRONOTE and their portal(s) e-sidoc so that the users will not have to re-authenticate and can visualize on their PRONOTE homepage what is on loan.

Allow the launching of a search in e-sidoc from PRONOTE 

To allow the users to launch a search in e-sidoc from their PRONOTE homepage, you must declare the e-sidoc portal in PRONOTE.

 Prerequisite  You must be a user from the group Administration.

  1. Go to the tab Communication > Partners >  Partners linked to the documentary solutions.
  2. Select e-sidoc in the list on the left.
  3. On the right, click on the button Create an e-sidoc portal.
  4. Select your institution' national number (RNE) in the drop-down menu to complete the address of the portal and validate.
  5. Enter the name and descriptive (text tool) for the portal: they are displayed on the homepages of the users.
  6. In the case of a school complex that have several e-sidoc portals, click on the button Add a portal on the top right and repeat the operation: the details of every portal are displayed in a dedicated tab. For every portal, click on the button  next to the Concerned classes and tick the concerned classes in the popup window.

Allows the viewing of the works borrowed from the school library (CDI) from the Webspace 

The institutions that have chosen PRONOTE in hosted mode can allow the users to visualize the publications borrowed from the school library on their PRONOTE homepage and access their e-sidoc account without re-authentication. For this, you need to activate the delegation of authentication to PRONOTE. Export from PRONOTE the e-sidoc users in an *.xml file to BCDI and activate the recovery of the e-sidoc information in PRONOTE. It is only possible if the authentication in PRONOTE and e-sidoc has not been delegated to another entity (DW,etc.).

 Prerequisite  You must be a user from the group Administration and have declared the e-sidoc portal in PRONOTE beforehand (see above).

  1. Go to the tab Communication > Partners >  Partners linked to the documentary solutions.
  2. Select e-sidoc in the list on the left.
  3. On the right, tick Activate the authentication delegation.
  4. Click on the button Export the users for e-sidoc.
  5. In the popup window, choose a directory on your workstation and only leave ticked the concerned users.
  6. In the case of a school complex that has several e-sidoc portals, repeat the operation by choosing the other portal in the popup window.
  7. The *.xml files exported from PRONOTE for each declared e-sidoc portal must then be imported to BCDI.
  8. Tick the box Recover the e-sidoc information to exhibit it in PRONOTE (current loans...) to activate the recovery of the data relative to the publications borrowed from the school library.
