Grading services
A grading service must be created for a teacher to grade the students in his/her subject.
Create a module and grading service
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Click on the creation line.
- In the popup window, select the subject and validate.
- In the new window that is displayed, tick the teacher(s) and validate: HYPERPLANNING automatically creates the module as well as the corresponding grading service.
Add a grading service to a module
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the module, right-click and choose Create a service in the grading module.
- In the popup window, select the subject and validate.
- In the new window that is displayed, tick the teacher(s) and validate.
Create a grading sub-service
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the service for which you want to create a sub-service, right-click and choose Create a sub-service: the sub-service is displayed in italics under the service.
- By default, the sub-service is created with the same characteristics as the service: to modify a characteristic, click in the corresponding column.
Modify the order of the modules and services
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select a service or module and use the arrows on the top right to place on top or on the bottom of the list.
Copy-paste the grading service table in Excel (or another spreadsheet)
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Click on the button
on the top right in the list.
- Use [Ctrl + V] in your spreadsheet to paste the copied data.
Averages
Round off the average of a module, service or sub-service
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the module, service or sub-service for which you want to round off the average.
- On the bottom of the screen, choose the round off mode by selecting the exactitude (up to one tenth of a point) in the drop-down menu and by selecting rounded-off
upward or to the nearest. You can choose a different round off mode for the averages of the students (Student rounded-off) and for the averages of the classes (
Public rounded-off).
Modify the coefficient of a module, service or sub-service
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the concerned module, service or sub-service.
- On the bottom of the screen, modify the field Coefficient.
Weight the grades
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the concerned service or sub-service.
- On the bottom of the screen, tick the highest grade and/or the lowest grade and enter the number of points.
Only take into account a service if it does not lower the average of the module
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Select the concerned service.
- On the bottom of the screen, tick Optional.
ECTS
Associate the ECTS credits to the services
By default, the ECTS credits are linked to the modules averages, you can associate them with the service averages.
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Click on the button
in the column No. ECTS.
- In the popup window, select Allocation per service/sub-service.
Define the number of ECTS credits to be obtained for each module/service
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- For every module/service, double-click in the column No. ECTS, enter the wanted number and validate with the key [Enter].
- Enter in the column Threshold grade the minimum grade for the automatic allocation of ECTS credit to the student.
- Otherwise, with regard to the services enter the eliminatory grade that prevents the obtaining of the ECTS.
Authorize a revision via the overall average
This option allows the allocation of all the ECTS, no matter what the averages of the modules/services, if the student obtains a sufficient overall average.
- Select a class and a period in the upper drop-down menus.
- Click on the button
in the column No. ECTS.
- In the popup window, tick Authorize the revision via the overall average and enter in the cell Attribution threshold the necessary
overall average to obtain the ECTS.
