Header and Footer

There are three default templates that you can customize but you also create others. They can be used:

Create the page headers and footers

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > institution > Header/Footer.
  2. Click on the creation line, enter a designation and validate using the key [Enter].
  3. Select the type of template:
    • Set dimension: you cannot intervene on the layout. Only the content is customizable. It can be used in mail and printing;
    • Dimension with a maximum height of 3 cm: apart from the maximum height limited to 3 cm, you can access all other formatting options. It can be used in letters and printing;
    • Non-restricted dimension: the created template can be used as a header or footer. You can change its size, alignment, orientation and set a frame or not. It is only usable for mail.
  4. Select the page header or footer in the list and customize it in the panel on the right.
  5. If you choose the template Non-restricted dimension or Dimension with a maximum height of 3 cm, you can define the layout (orientation, alignment, size and frame).
  6. Click on the button Insert and choose the wanted variables. Information concerning the institution are those entered in the menu Parameters > institution > Identity (Institution).

Define the header/footer for a standard letter

  1. Go to the tab Communication > Mail >  Standard letters.
  2. In the list, select the concerned standard letter.
  3. Position the cursor where you want the header or footer.
  4. Right-click and choose Headers/Footers > [Name].
  5. The variables are replace with the appropriate data. Once the header is integrated in the standard letter, you can select the block and modify its placement manually.
  6. You can integrate several page headers/footers in the same standard letter.

Duplicate a template

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > institution > Headers/Footers.
  2. Select the template in the list.
  3. Right-click and choose Duplicate.

Restore a default template 

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > institution > Headers/Footers.
  2. Select the template in the list.
  3. Right-click and choose Restore the original.
