Grading service

So that a teacher can grade the students in their subject, a grading service must have been created. The grading services are assembled in the modules (in green) and can be divided into sub-services (in italics).

Create the grading services

Generate the grading services

Prerequisite  A grading calendar has been allocated to the class (Grading period).

  1. Go to the tab Grading > Grading services >  Grading services (per class).
  2. Select a class from the list on the left.
  3. Click on the line Create the modules and grading service.
  4. In the popup window, select Create the modules and allocate its subjects, except if the class' studies are not yet organized in modules: in this case, select Create a module per selected subject. You can always reorganize the modules later.
  5. If the courses of the class are already created, tick Only subjects that are taught without grading services so that you can reduce the list and ease the manipulation.
  6. Click on the creation line New module, enter a name and validate using the key [Enter]. Then select the subject(s) to be added to this module from the list on the left and click on the button  to move under the module. Repeat this manipulation for every module.
  7. If you want to change a module service, click-drag it.
  8. Click on Next. In the window that follows, indicate if you want to create the grading services or subs-services for the Groups/Options as well as the courses with several teachers.
  9. Validate. HYPERPLANNING displays its services and subs-services for every module.

Reorganize the grading services

If the courses have been created from the curricula, when HYPERPLANNING creates the grading services from the courses, it recovers the titles of the curricula modules and their organization.

If the courses have been created in another manner, every service is found by default in a module that has the same name and it is up to you to rename the modules and assemble the services.

Change modules for a service

  1. Go to the tab Grading > Grading services >  Grading services (per class).
  2. Select the service, right-click and choose Change the grading module, or click-drag the service into its new module in its new module.

Add a group or class to a grading service

  1. Go to the tab Grading > Grading services >  Grading services (per class).
  2. Select the class in the list on the left.
  3. Double-click in the column Public.
  4. In the popup window, tick the concerned class and then validate.
  5. It is possible to add a class or a group to a service even if grades have already been entered.
