Break (recess)
Specifying the breaks is useful if you use the automatic placement and you do not want some courses to overlap these breaks.
Specify the breaks
- Go to the menu Parameters > general parameters > Breaks/Inter-class.
- Tick Activate the first break.
- Select the time of the break in the drop-down menu or click-drag the yellow line in the grid.
- Repeat the manipulation if you have several breaks.
Indicate the courses that must comply with the break
- Go to the tab Schedules > Courses >
List. - Select the concerned courses, right-click and choose Modify > Compliance with the breaks > Comply with the breaks.
See when the placement of a course does not comply with the break
- From the display
Timetable, select the course and click on it to transfer to diagnosis mode (Diagnosis of a course). - Displace the green frame to the slot of your choice. If the course encroaches on a break, it is indicated by the symbol
in the course form.
