Relay EDT

In Network version, the Relay is an application that allows the Client access to the Server without having the Client directly accessing the machine that harbors the Server (a security measure if the users install the Client outside the institution’s network).

Download and install the Relay

1. Go to our Internet site, www.index-education.com, then to the application download page EDT > Downloads > Download EDT.
2. In the rubric EDT 2021 Network l For the administrators, click on the Network applications and downloads the application.
3. Follow the installation wizard.

Connect the Relay to the Server

 Prerequisite  The Server must be activated.

1. In the application Relay , click on the panel Choice of server.
2. Transfer the IP Address and the TCP port of the Server: this information is shown in the panel Publication parameters of the Server.
3. Click on the button Connect.

Activate the Relay

In the application Relay , click on the button Activate.
